Abstract |
Background. Currently, the problem of pathology of the cervix of the uterus has not lost its relevance. Despite numerous studies, diagnostic criteria and treatment options, pathological conditions of the cervix make up the proportion in the structure of the general pathology of gynecological morbidity. Today, the most pressing problem in the field of obstetrics and gynecology is a combination of changes in the cervix with the activity of human papilloma virus (HPV). The urgency of the problem is explained not only by the diversity and frequency of occurrence of non-tumor processes in the cervix, but also by the probability of their malignant transformation. The aim of the work is to optimize the management of patients with latent forms of human papillomavirus infection for pathogenetically substantiated preventive therapy in the future. |
